unable to boot from windows server cd

unable to boot from windows server cd

I have a Dell PowerEdge 1850. I removed 2 DIMS from it because I think one
of memories was bad. I kept 2 in there. I set boot priority to CD first in
BIOS. I successfully booted Gparted Live from the CD drive and reformatted
the disk. However, now when I put the Windows Server 2008 x86 CD in the
drive, it does not boot from it. It says:
"strike f1 to try reboot f2 for setup utility"
So why can it boot from GParted Live and not the Windows Server 2008
installation cd?
